While I am not a technical wizard I am following up on an excellent idea to start a petition to call on the Bears to FIRE RON TURNER. I downloaded a plug in and hooked it up under word press and it seems to work. When you click on the position it asks for a confirmation email and you can put in any comments you want. This makes sure that the petition isn’t just full of spam. This post will update as new individuals sign the petition. If you have any technical problems put them in the comments on this post. Let’s see how many we can get. Hopefully the server doesn’t melt!
As dedicated Bears fans we believe that Ron Turner should be removed from his position as Bears' offensive coordinator. A brief summary of his failings includes:
1) over 16 years in various roles Ron Turner averages in the bottom 20% against his peers. This is unacceptable
2) players who perform terribly under Turner flourish elsewhere
3) play calling is predictable
4) play calling is ineffective
We also hold against Mr. Turner the fact that he left the University of Illinois program flat on its back. Please find a new job outside of Illinois!

This guy has cost the team to lose one of the best defensive coordinators to call the game, and has been below average every year he has coached, its just an insult to proud franchise of the bears to have kept him so long, It is a slap in the face to the city of Chicago. Its time for the management to wake up and take action.

It is hard for the players to show their skill when they are set up for failure before the snap. Please fire Ron Turner. Maybe lovie needs to go too. But something has to change. Also, whose brilliant idea was it to sign a 14 year vet/old worn out OL like Orlando pace? What does it say that the Rams O-line was upgraded in the pre-season by the subtraction of Pace?
