The Most Bitter Pill Of All

Thomas Jones ran for 210 yards last Sunday. He looks great.

“Ded” Ced Benson is having an outstanding year with the Bengals.

And we don’t even need to talk about the resurgent Broncos and their new field general, Kyle Orton. Still undefeated at 6-0.

I remember vividly watching each of these three athletes disappoint me while I was sitting in the nose bleeds at Soldier Field. So why and how are they so resurgent?

Because Ron Turner isn’t their offensive coodinators anymore, that is why. It is too bad that Ron didn’t give his “magic talk” to Orton when he was here. And what is up with Jones and Benson? Note the sweet blocking schemes on those running plays. And Benson actually broke a tackle or two – good for him. At least he knows he won’t get constantly creamed in the backfield like Forte.

  1. It is amazing that all of these players left our offense and are just kicking ass. Like you I will just scream if Ced runs all over us while Forte crawls for pathetic yardage this week

  2. Joe says:

Hey here is an interesting fact, the bears off line coach worked with Turner at U of I the asst. off line coach played for turner and the off line coach at u of i…wow no wonder our Off line sucks….We have horrible people coaching these professionals
